Where as trusts are registered under Indian Trust Act, Societies are registered under Indian Society Registration Act and Non Profitable companies are registered under section 25 of Indian Companies Act, 2013.

Process of registration of Trusts, Societies varies from one state to other whereas procedures of registration of  Section 25 or Section 8 companies (Non profitable companies) are almost same in every parts of India.
